MARTIAL ARTS FOR MORAL EXCELLENCE
This system is a pure self defense system--not a sport-- that includes Christ-centered universal moral teachings. Self defense is also put in a legal context--something that is most often not done in traditional martial arts schools.
Instruction is by creative technique combinations that enhance creative brain functioning. A martial art is constructed for the individual instead of the "cookie cutter" approach used by most schools which presses the individual into patterns that may not be reasonable for the individuals psychomotor skills, body structure and preferences.
We have found that students can waste years learning sequences in traditional forms rather than applications of effective self defense techniques that fit their body structure, coordination patterns and capabilities and psychomotor skills.
Fights are creative events--not fixed patterns!

He is also an Western Orthodox bishop and a nursing instructor and holds accredited degrees in Criminal Justice and Instructional Leadership in Educational Administration. He has been involved in martial arts since 1968.
